ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla., October 8, 2026. RVRBN LLC, an advisory firm based in St. Johns County, has opened for business to help owner-run companies in Northeast Florida stop depending on the owner for almost everything. It finds the work that runs through the owner, builds AI systems that do that work, and trains the team to run them. It also gets companies ready for a sale or a handoff.
RVRBN works with small and mid-size companies across Northeast Florida in trades and field services, manufacturing and machining, distribution, multi-location practices and specialty contracting. It is now taking on its first engagements.
Work built around the owner
RVRBN starts with where the owner's time goes. In a two-week Assessment, it maps how work moves through the company and returns a ranked list of every job that depends on the owner personally, what each one costs in hours, and which ones a system can take over.
From there it builds one system at a time. Each build goes after a single job that a specific person does by hand, like scheduling and dispatch, quoting, invoice chasing, intake, or the report someone rebuilds every Monday. The systems connect to the tools the company already uses and run in the background with little upkeep. Each one is measured by the hours it gives back, and the next one is scoped only after the first is working.
A one-day training on site, using the company's own work and data, teaches the team to run the systems and build more of them without RVRBN. Every engagement is fixed-fee and scoped in writing before it starts, and the prices are published at rvrbn.com/services.
Getting ready to sell
A company that runs through its owner is hard to hand over. Under the Small Business Administration's new acquisition lending rules, it is also harder for a buyer to finance. RVRBN's Succession Readiness work, billed month to month, takes what only the owner knows and puts it where a buyer, a family member or a manager can use it. It also gets the records in shape for a buyer's lender.
The service is aimed at owners of companies with roughly ten to a hundred employees who still hold most of the decisions and customer relationships themselves, and at owners who plan to sell or hand off within the next several years.
Founder
Corleous Kelly, founder
RVRBN was founded by Corleous Kelly, who has spent a decade and a half in the Department of Defense and national security sectors. He spent six years as a Marine Corps intelligence analyst, where he delivered targeted intelligence products that reduced risk for military operations. He then moved into delivery leadership and program management, where the job was to de-risk projects and keep them on schedule and under budget. He holds the Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner and Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner credentials. He also founded Vantera Aerial, a construction and commercial site documentation company in St. Johns County.
"Most companies this size were built by an owner who is still carrying them," said Kelly. "The pricing judgment and the customer relationships run through one person, and very little of it is written down. That makes the company fragile, and it's fixable. I spent years taking apart complicated operations to find the constraint that's binding before touching anything else. I'll tell owners what I find, including when it isn't what they were hoping to hear."
What comes next
RVRBN also publishes The Bend at rvrbn.com/articles, an essay from Kelly every Monday on owning and handing off a small company, with short commentary on the news on Wednesdays and Fridays when a story is worth an owner's time.
RVRBN is also entering seller-financed acquisitions of small companies in Northeast Florida, where the owner gets paid over time.
